The Old House Discussion List is a mailing list and is not affiliated with Old House Chronicle,
except by a common subject matter.
The mailing list is for people who are interested in the preservation and restoration of old houses.
The Old House Discussion List seeks to include both professionals and non-professionals who own, work on, or admire
old houses. The community of
members share techniques, ideas and other information, as well as histories and other lore about
their favorite old houses. All who share a passion for old houses are welcome to join in the discussions.

The original list was started on July 11, 1996 by Steve Mosenson. One day Steve could no longer be reached or contacted. As time passed, the current list was built to replace the unmanaged list. We all hope Steve is doing well and hope someday to hear from him.
The list management is now handled by three old house lovers who ensure that it will always remain available. The list is hosted by
