Old House Chronicle is a free, bimonthly internet-based magazine about old houses and the people who live in them. The magazine is published by a group of dedicated volunteers, whose goal is to provide information and entertainment for old-house enthusiasts at large.
Within our pages you will find articles about restoration, preservation, and rehabilitation, written from the perspective of the average person. Gut-and-remodel jobs with million-dollar budgets we leave for others to cover.
Published since 1998, all past articles from Old House Chronicle are available online. An index of all articles is available, or a specific subject can be searched for.
Old House Chronicle publishes articles on a wide variety of subjects. Submissions from the public are welcome and will be reviewed by the editorial staff.
